King Eider, Winter 2010

An adult make King Eider showed up at Myers Point on November 24th 2010 and was found by Bob McGuire. It was seen again from Sheldrake a few days later, then it went back to Myers where it persisted for a couple of weeks. On December 5th it showed up at Stewart Park at the mouth of Fall Creek by the Swan Pen, where it afforded great looks and photographs. It was last seen on December 29th.
